ISVCDO (Inclusive and Sustainable Value Chain Development in Oromia)

In the framework of ISVCDO (Inclusive and Sustainable Value Chain Development in Oromia) project in Ethiopia, Nutrition component, CIHEAM Bari team started the implementation of home gardens in 400 households, mainly involving women, to contribute to families’ diet diversification. 

This activity is joined with cooking demonstrations, in which all the community participates and increase its awareness about  the nexus agriculture production-food-health. An example of innovative educational and participatory event, strictly connected with the other two components of the project, Horticulture and Gender.
